Taylor was born and raised in Kamloops, BC. After spending his formative years in Kamloops, he moved to Vancouver where he spent 12 years working in the Film and Television industry and continues to do so today.

Throughout his career he's had the opportunity to work on some incredible projects, including HBO's series, The Last of Us featuring Pedro Pascal, and FX Networks' Under the Banner of Heaven starring Andrew Garfield to name a few. Under the Banner of Heaven was adapted from Jon Kraukauer's award-winning novel and the adapted TV series was spearheaded and written by Academy Award Winner Dustin Lance Black and produced by Film and TV elites Ron Howard and Brian Grazer.

Taylor has trained extensively in Vancouver and Los Angeles and contiues to do so. Some of his training includes the world-renowned improv school, The Groundlings Improv.
